George takes a collaborative role with both his clients and his colleagues, with an acute skill set for both giving and receiving constructive feedback in the moment. His strong commitment to process helps to achieve the delicate balance of humility while empowering others.
Originally from North Carolina, George has spent the past six years working in the field of counseling after earning his MSW from Bryn Mawr College. His experience spans various levels of therapeutic communities, from residential to outpatient treatment centers. He works with men, young adults, and families. George is passionate about helping them embrace their masculinity and as they work on unconditionally loving themselves. He brings a strong specialty in addiction counseling, addressing issues related to substances, processing addictions, as well as gambling, sex, and video game addictions. In his free time, George enjoys swimming, biking, running, and spending time in the mountains, a favorite pastime for many Coloradans.
