Join us for a cozy gathering where therapists can unwind, share insights, and dive into their favorite professional books together.
The Therapist Collective is a monthly gathering for Mental Health and related professionals across the Denver Metro Area. Each month we come together to build community, share expertise, and support one another through honest conversation and meaningful connection.
Whether you’re looking for collegial support, new referral relationships, or simply a place to think more deeply about the work we do, this group offers a warm, grounded space to connect.
About the Collective
Hosted by Collaborative Counseling of Colorado, the Therapist Collective is designed as a casual, collaborative, and energizing community for clinicians. It’s a space where therapists can:
- Share strengths and specialties
- Exchange resources and ideas
- Discuss cases through a lens of curiosity and respect (while maintaining confidentiality)
- Build relationships that strengthen both personal and professional well-being
- Contribute to the evolving mental health landscape of our community
Who Should Join
This gathering is open to all helping professionals who might work with therapists.
If you value peer support, professional growth, and an authentic clinical community in Denver, you’re in the right place.
Whether you’ve read every chapter or haven’t cracked the spine yet, you are welcome. The goal is meaningful conversation, not perfection.
What to Expect
- Networking & Community Building
- Meet colleagues, exchange referrals, and connect with therapists doing powerful, important work across Denver.
- Self-Care & Professional Development
- Participate in discussions that support both your personal well-being and professional growth.
- Case Collaboration
- Bring clinical questions or stuck points and receive supportive, thoughtful perspectives from fellow clinicians (always maintaining client confidentiality).
- Book-Inspired Discussion
Books we’ve discussed include:
Most recently, we had a thoughtful and emotionally resonant discussion of Notes on Being a Man by Scott Galloway. Our conversation touched on masculine and feminine identity, the loneliness many men experience today, the permission Galloway gives for emotional expression, and the shifting generational expectations around fatherhood, mentorship, vulnerability, and strength. The honesty and openness people brought to this discussion captured what makes this group meaningful and unique.
If you’re curious about what we do, you’re welcome to join us — you don’t need to be a therapist, and you don’t even have to have read the book.
Help Shape Our 2026 Book List
As we plan for 2026, we’re inviting input on future book selections. We’ve put together a brief ranked-choice poll where you can vote on next year’s books, nominate future titles, and indicate if you’d like to lead a discussion.
Your input truly shapes the conversations we have and the community we’re building.
When We Meet
We’re aiming for the second Friday morning of each month going forward.
Join Us!
Be part of a dynamic and welcoming group of clinicians who support, inspire, and empower one another while addressing the mental and relational health needs of our communities.
Reading the book is encouraged — but absolutely not mandatory. Come as you are.
We look forward to gathering with you.
