Natural Medicine Circles & Workshops (2026)

Beginning in 2026, Collaborative Counseling of Colorado will expand its therapeutic offerings to include Natural Medicine Circles and small-group workshops designed for deeper emotional, psychological, and relational exploration.

These experiences are intended for individuals seeking meaningful inner work within a safe, supportive, and professionally guided setting. Each circle is thoughtfully structured to include preparation, ceremony, and integration, allowing participants to engage the experience with clarity, care, and intention.

Rooted in both evidence-based therapeutic practices and ceremonial traditions, these gatherings emphasize personal insight, emotional resilience, and connection, both to self and to community.

What Are Natural Medicine Circles?

Natural Medicine Circles are small, therapist-led group experiences that combine experiential learning with guided reflection and integration. While each circle has its own focus, all offerings share a commitment to safety, ethical facilitation, and psychological support before, during, and after the experience.

These circles are not casual or recreational experiences. They are designed as intentional therapeutic containers where participants are supported in exploring internal patterns, emotional processes, and meaning-making in their lives.

Themes explored across circles and workshops may include:

  • Emotional resilience and self-regulation
  • Relational patterns and attachment
  • Self-leadership and identity
  • Men’s work and masculine development
  • Purpose, values, and meaning in everyday life

Participation involves structured preparation beforehand and facilitated integration afterward, helping participants make sense of their experiences and apply insights in grounded, sustainable ways.

Featured Offering: Men’s Medicine Circle

Man carrying emotional burdens

One of the offerings planned for 2026 is the Men’s Medicine Circle, a small-group, facilitator-guided natural medicine experience created specifically for men seeking deeper emotional access, self-understanding, and connection.

This day-long experience is designed for men who recognize the weight of expectations often placed on them and who may carry emotional burdens that have gone unsupported. Many men learn early to contain or suppress experiences of anger, grief, fear, shame, or vulnerability in order to function as providers, protectors, leaders, or high performers. Over time, this can lead to disconnection from self and others.

The Men’s Medicine Circle creates a structured and intentional space where these internal experiences can be met with clarity, compassion, and strength.

The Circle Experience

The Men’s Medicine Circle is held within a clearly defined container of safety, support, and professional guidance. Participants are invited to honor the roles and identities they carry while also being given permission to set them down temporarily in order to explore their inner landscape more fully.

After entering ceremonial space, participants are guided inward for several hours during their individual journeys. While the group moves through the experience together, each participant engages his own internal process, using intention and attention as primary navigational tools.

The experience is facilitated by licensed natural medicine professionals who provide a steady presence and support throughout the day.

Group size is intentionally kept small, typically 4 to 8 participants, with 2 to 3 licensed facilitators present.

Integration and Ongoing Support

A facilitated integration session takes place the following morning. This session allows participants to reflect, share, and begin the process of integrating insights into daily life. Integration is a critical part of the therapeutic process, helping translate internal experiences into meaningful, lasting change.

At Collaborative Counseling of Colorado, integration is approached with the same care and professionalism as the ceremony itself, recognizing that insight alone is not enough without thoughtful reflection and support.
